Watch: Rotterdam P2 Day Three Highlights as Tapia and Coello Clash With Libaak and Alfonso

Rotterdam's Ahoy arena served up its biggest quarterfinal of the week on Friday, and Premier Padel's Day Three highlights reel captures all of it.

The headline tie

World No. 1s Agustin Tapia and Arturo Coello, the defending Rotterdam champions, reached the last eight by beating Alvaro Montiel and Daniel Santigosa 6-3, 6-2 in the round of 16. Waiting for them in the quarterfinals were Tino Libaak and Gonza Alfonso, an unseeded pair who pulled off the result of the week by eliminating Javi Leal and Fran Guerrero 7-5, 3-6, 6-4. Leal and Guerrero had landed in the Netherlands fresh off winning the FIP Platinum in Lyon.

The video above runs through the key points from that quarterfinal and the rest of Friday's men's matches at Rotterdam Ahoy. Libaak and Alfonso had already knocked out one Lyon champion pair; taking on the top seeds was their toughest test yet of the week.

Semifinals follow this weekend in Rotterdam, with a final-four spot already banked by whoever came through Friday's standout tie.
