Top seeds survive, Salazar's run ends
Delfi Brea and Gemma Triay held off Jimena Velasco and Lucia Eugenio 6-2, 7-6 to book a semifinal against Ari Sanchez and Andrea Ustero, who beat Alejandra Salazar and Aranza Osoro 6-4, 6-3 to end Salazar's run in Milan.
Josemaria and Gonzalez also through
On the other side of the draw, Paula Josemaria and Bea Gonzalez advanced past Claudia Fernandez and Martina Calvo to claim the last spot in the semifinals.
