Arturo Coello and Agustin Tapia handled Tolito Aguirre and Alex Arroyo 6-4, 6-4 to keep their title defence on track. Ale Galan and Fede Chingotto were sharper still, past Juan Tello and Maxi Arce 6-2, 6-3. Paquito Navarro and Martin Di Nenno rolled 6-1, 6-4, and Juan Lebron, back alongside Leo Augsburger, edged Sanyo Gutierrez and Maxi Sanchez 6-4, 6-4.
