Watch: Behind the Scenes as London P1's First Champions Pose for the Trophy Photo

Arturo Coello, Agustin Tapia, Martina Calvo and Claudia Fernandez became the first champions in London P1 history on Sunday, and Premier Padel's official channel has now posted the behind-the-scenes footage of their trophy photoshoot.

The short clip, titled "The making of the CHAMPIONS photo," follows all four players as they set up for the traditional winners' portrait at Olympia London, cracking jokes and posing with their trophies moments after play wrapped for the week.

What happened at Olympia London

Coello and Tapia beat Fede Chingotto and Ale Galan 6-3, 5-7, 7-5 in the men's final, their eighth title of the season and another step clear of Chingotto-Galan in the season standings.

In the women's final, Calvo and Fernandez upset Gemma Triay and Delfi Brea 7-5, 6-3. At 18 years, one month and four days, Calvo became the youngest player ever to win a professional Premier Padel title, beating Andrea Ustero's previous record by 20 days.

"I have fulfilled a dream," Calvo said after the win. "I have watched so many finals on television and always wondered what it would feel like to play one."

Coello was more matter of fact about his own title. "The only way to win was to remain focused, as we did, and celebrate another title," he said.

Why it matters

London's debut on the Premier Padel calendar drew more than 20,000 spectators to Olympia across the week, and this clip is the tour's own record of the moment its first champions were crowned there.
