The CUPRA FIP Tour wrapped its Bali stop on Sunday with finals streamed live from Island Sports, the last big padel week of the Indonesian summer swing.

A packed finals day

FIP posted the full finals replay on its YouTube channel, capping four days of main draw play with semifinals and finals held back to back on August 16. Marcos Gonzalez Blanco and Martin Abud arrived as the men's No. 1 seeds after winning FIP Silver Narbonne earlier this year, while Miguel Melero and Pablo Landaburu chased a season double after separate FIP Bronze wins in Yogyakarta and Jakarta. On the women's side, Virginia Riera, ranked No. 35 on the FIP circuit, teamed with Zahra Kahrizi after already winning FIP Silver titles in Manila, Jersey Island and Dubai this season.

Bigger than the scoreline

The tournament drew athletes from more than two dozen countries, according to Bali Post, and KONI chairman Marciano Norman called it proof that 'sport tourism is truly happening' on the island. Organizers are also treating the week as a building block ahead of padel's debut at the 2026 Asian Games in Japan, where Indonesia's team is aiming to build on its quarterfinal run at last year's FIP Asia Cup.
