San Luis Potosi has its men's semifinal lineup, and it is an all-Argentine field chasing a place in Saturday's final.
Two semifinals, one final spot
FIP Gold San Luis wrapped its quarterfinals on Friday and set up a pair of semifinals at Advantage Padel Club. Top seeds Alex Ruiz and Franco Dal Bianco face Nacho Archieri and Pablo Sanchez in the first match. Juani Rubini and Alex Chozas take on Tonet Sans and Gustavo Nunes in the second. The federation streamed the semifinals live on its own YouTube channel Friday evening, giving fans outside Mexico a courtside view of both matches.
Women's draw still in progress
On the women's side, third seeds Camila Ramme and Brittany Dubins opened with a 6-1, 6-1 win over Nerea Darbis and Lorena Marruffo before moving into their quarterfinal against Argentine pair Sofia Luini and Belen Mosca.
Finals in San Luis are set for Saturday, August 22, closing out a tournament with a 60,000 euro prize pool.
