FIP Gold San Luis gets underway in Mexico this week, and the host federation's own trailer sets the scene for a stacked 48-pair draw.
Who to watch
Alex Ruiz and Franco Dal Bianco, fresh off their FIP Gold Ponta Delgada title, are the top seeds in a 32-pair men's field. Alex Chozas and Juani Rubini sit second, with Alonso Rodriguez and Juani De Pascual seeded third. Nine men in the draw rank inside the world's top 100.
On the women's side, Marta Borrero and Julia Polo lead a 16-pair field. Polo already has four CUPRA FIP Tour titles this year, and Borrero reached the final in Shanghai. Brittany Dubins and Camila Ramme, seeded third, round out a group with six players from the top 100.
Why it matters
San Luis carries 150 FIP ranking points and runs from August 19 to 22, the first of back-to-back Gold weeks that continue in Belgrade before the tour returns to Premier Padel level. A strong run here matters for players chasing seeding at the bigger stops later in the season.
