Alejandra Salazar is playing her last season, and Premier Padel just made that hard to ignore. The tour dropped a short tribute clip this week, its caption saying the quiet part out loud: this is the last one for the Madrid veteran.

Why she's stopping

Salazar, a former world No.1 and one of the most decorated players of her generation, confirmed back in 2025 that 2026 would be it. The reasons are physical - a body worn down by knee trouble and an old elbow operation - and personal. She's said she wants to start a family and put more into her player-management agency, GOAT Sports Management.

What the clip shows

It's a quick montage of smiles and big points, wrapped in a goodbye. Premier Padel posted it as the circuit rolled into Andalucia, where the Malaga P1 main draw got underway on Monday. Her farewell tour rolls on with it.
