Pro Padel League makes its US national TV debut on CNBC with Sunday's New York final

Padel reaches national US television Sunday, when the Pro Padel League's New York final airs on CNBC. It's the first time a PPL match has landed on a national American network.

A first for the league

The league, which launched in 2023, signed a broadcast deal with production partner USA Sports to carry five championship matches on CNBC across the 2026 season. That gives the young circuit its biggest US platform yet, and its first national TV window. Three of the five broadcasts are men's finals; the other two are women's.

New York opens the run

Sunday's title match closes the season-opening event at the Hammerstein Ballroom in Midtown Manhattan, staged from July 9 to 12. All 10 franchises brought men's and women's rosters. The New York Atlantics, the 2025 champions, play on home turf with Ignacio Vilarino, Jaime Fermosell, Marta Talavan and Sofia Saiz. Las Vegas made the offseason's biggest signing in Argentina's Agustin Torre.

What's next

After New York, CNBC's schedule follows the league to Los Angeles on August 16, Playa del Carmen on September 27, Guadalajara on November 22, and the City's Cup Finals in Miami on December 6. It's a clear bet that padel can find a mainstream US audience.
