Kuwait Major Locks In Field and Prize Money as Qualifying Opens Friday

Qualifying for the Kuwait Major begins Friday at The Arena Kuwait, with Premier Padel confirming a prize pool of 1,044,849 euros and an 88-pair field across the men's and women's draws.

Draw size and wildcards

The men's main draw holds 48 pairs: 41 that entered directly on ranking, four qualifiers, and three wildcard teams. The women's main draw has 40 pairs, built from 34 direct entries, four qualifiers and two wildcards. Qualifying itself runs 24 men's pairs and 16 women's pairs, each bracket carrying a couple of wildcard slots of its own.

Schedule and venue

Men's qualifying plays out Friday and Saturday, with the women following through Sunday. The main draw then takes over The Arena Kuwait, in the Hawalli area south of Kuwait City, running through the final on Saturday, October 31, set for a 4 p.m. start. Courts will be indoors, laid with Mondo turf, and players will use Bullpadel's Next Pro ball all week.

Why it matters

Kuwait is the only Major that Premier Padel brings to Asia or the Gulf this season, after organizers lifted it from P1 status once the Qatar Major was postponed earlier in the year. Title sponsor BNK Holding now backs an event that carries the same ranking weight as the tour's stops in Rome and Paris.
