Madrid Set to Host FIP World Cup Qualifiers Europe in September

Madrid will host the FIP World Cup Qualifiers Europe from September 22 to 26, the International Padel Federation confirmed this week. The event runs at the Padel G24 club and decides the continent's final tickets to the 2026 FIP World Cup in Doha.

Fifty-five teams, four spots left

Twenty-nine European federations will send 55 national teams to Madrid, split across the men's and women's draws. Only two men's places and two women's places remain open for Doha, since most of the 32-team field is already locked in.

Who has already qualified

Twelve men's teams and eleven women's teams have secured their spots through 2024 World Cup rankings and other regional qualifiers, including defending champion Argentina and hosts Qatar. The United States and Mexico both booked their places earlier this month at the North and Central America qualifier in Toronto.

What's next

The Doha World Cup runs November 2-7 with a full field of 32 national teams, 16 men's and 16 women's. Madrid's qualifier is the last major European stop before FIP finalizes the bracket, with the South America qualifier following later in August.
