Coki Nieto and Mike Yanguas Reunite for Madrid P1

Coki Nieto and Mike Yanguas are partners again. The pair has registered together for the Premier Padel Madrid P1, the tour's first stop after the summer break, and shows up in the draw as the fourth seed.

The reunion closes out a chain reaction that started once Franco Stupaczuk and Jon Sanz decided to team up after the London P1. Nieto had opened the 2026 season alongside Sanz, while Yanguas was paired with Stupaczuk. When Stupaczuk and Sanz chose each other instead, both Nieto and Yanguas were left looking for a new partner and turned back to the team they already knew.

A partnership that already worked

Nieto and Yanguas are not starting from zero. They played together through 2025, reaching the semifinals on a regular basis and closing the year as the circuit's fourth ranked pair. That partnership ended after the season, with Nieto saying at the time he would start a new project for 2026. Now, less than a year later, they are back in the same team photo.

Madrid will be the first real test of round two.
