Ari Sanchez and Andrea Ustero are Paris Major champions. The Spanish pair beat Claudia Fernandez and Martina Calvo 6-2, 6-0 in Sunday's women's final at Roland Garros, needing just 71 minutes to close out the title.

A statement final

Sanchez and Ustero broke early in both sets and never let Fernandez and Calvo settle into a rhythm. Ustero's returns pinned their opponents deep in their own court for long stretches, while Sanchez cleaned up at the net. The second set was over before Fernandez and Calvo won a single game.

It's the second title of the season for Sanchez and Ustero, who also won the Riyadh Season P1 in 2026 after Sanchez ended her long partnership with Paula Josemaria. This is their first Major together, and it came on the sport's biggest stage in front of a Roland Garros crowd that also watched Arturo Coello and Agustin Tapia claim the men's title over the weekend.

Final heartbreak for Fernandez and Calvo

Fernandez and Calvo arrived in the final off an upset win over top seeds Delfi Brea and Gemma Triay in the semifinals, a result that had many tipping them to push Sunday's final deep. Instead, they ran into a Sanchez and Ustero pair playing some of the best padel of their short partnership. It's the third final in four tournaments for Fernandez and Calvo since they teamed up, with one title along the way at the London P1.
