The world number ones broke early in both sets and never let Guerrero and Leal settle into a rhythm on Court Philippe Chatrier. Coello controlled the net exchanges while Tapia's returns kept the Spanish pair pinned behind the baseline for long stretches. It is the kind of tidy, low-drama win the top seeds have made their trademark this season.

Next up: Lebron and Augsburger

The win sets up a semifinal against Juan Lebron and Leandro Augsburger, who reached the final four with a 6-3, 7-6 win over Momo Gonzalez and Lucas Campagnolo in the other men's quarterfinal. That match was tighter than the scoreline suggests, with Gonzalez and Campagnolo pushing the second set to a tiebreak before Lebron and Augsburger closed it out.

Coello and Tapia have already faced Lebron and Augsburger twice this season, in finals in Brussels and Asuncion, so neither pair will need much of a scouting report.
