Galan and Chingotto advanced with a straight-sets win of their own, beating Alex Chozas and Juani De Pascual 6-3, 6-2 in the previous round. They arrive as the more experienced pair on Roland Garros' show courts, but Alonso and Goni have already proven this week that a big name alone will not scare them off.

A win sends either pair into Saturday's semifinal, one match from a place in Sunday's final.
