Arturo Coello and Agustin Tapia against Alejandro Galan and Federico Chingotto is fast becoming padel's defining rivalry, and it heads to Malaga next. The two pairs sit atop the Malaga Premier Padel P1 draw as the top two men's seeds, with qualifying starting July 11 and the main draw running July 13-19 at the Palacio de Deportes Jose Maria Martin Carpena.

Fresh off Bordeaux

Coello and Tapia arrive as world number ones and the team to beat. They edged Galan and Chingotto 5-7, 7-6(4), 6-2 in the Bordeaux P2 final on July 5, the latest final between the same four players. Galan and Chingotto have pushed them close all summer without closing the deal.

What to watch in Malaga

Both teams are seeded to reach the later rounds, so their opening matches land mid-week. The men's main draw holds 48 players, which leaves room for an upset before any rematch. On the women's side, Gemma Triay and Delfi Brea head the seeds.
