Tapia and Coello Beat Galan and Chingotto to Win London P1 Title

Agustin Tapia and Arturo Coello won the London P1 on Sunday, beating Federico Chingotto and Alejandro Galan 6-3, 5-7, 7-5 in the men's final at Olympia. The title is the pair's eighth of the 2026 season.

A tight second set

Tapia and Coello raced through the first set 6-3, but Chingotto and Galan hit back to take the second 7-5 and push the match to a decider. The top seeds settled again in the third set, closing it out 7-5 to lift the trophy in front of a full house.

First Premier Padel stop in the UK

London hosted its first Premier Padel event this week, with matches running from August 3 to August 9 at Olympia. The tour's debut in the British capital drew sellout crowds across the week.

Tapia and Coello arrived in London off the back of a semifinal exit in Pretoria the week before, where they lost to Leal and Guerrero. The London win keeps them at the top of the men's standings heading into the tour's summer break, with the Madrid P1 next on the calendar.
