Coki Nieto and Mike Yanguas open the men's semifinals at FIP Gold Belgrade on Saturday against Alex Ruiz and Javi Garcia, with the winner through to Sunday's final.
Semifinal lineup
The men's draw is set for two clashes on Court 1. Yanguas and Nieto, ranked 8 and 10 in the FIP standings and reunited as a pair for this event, meet Ruiz and Garcia from around 18:30 local time. Right after, Franco Stupaczuk and Jon Sanz, playing together for the first time this week, take on Pablo Lijo and Xisco Gil for the second final spot.
Path to the semis
Nieto and Yanguas cruised through their quarterfinal, beating Nico Zurita and Samuel Rivas in straight sets. Stupaczuk and Sanz needed a tighter effort to get past Fran Jurado and Alejandro Garcia, following an opening-round win over Gustavo Nunes and Pedro Perry. Ruiz and Garcia got past Javi Ruiz and Santiago Pineda, while Lijo and Gil beat Marc Quilez and Fede Mourino to book their semifinal.
Women's semifinals
The women's draw also reaches its final four on Saturday, starting from 15:00 local time. Top seeds Ale Salazar and Aranza Osoro face Marta Barrera and Jana Montes, while Jessica Castello and Marta Talavan meet Lorena Rufo and Victoria Iglesias for the other final berth.
