Coello-Tapia and Galan-Chingotto face live semifinals at the Bordeaux P2 on Saturday

World No. 1 pair Arturo Coello and Agustin Tapia headline the men's semifinals at the Bordeaux Premier Padel P2 on Saturday, and the draw handed them Martin Di Nenno and Paquito Navarro rather than a soft passage into Sunday's final.

Coello and Tapia had to grind out their quarterfinal, beating Momo Gonzalez and Lucas Campagnolo 7-5, 3-6, 6-1 after dropping the middle set. Di Nenno and Navarro were Friday's headline act, knocking out third seeds Juan Lebron and Leo Augsburger 6-3, 7-5 to arrive in the last four full of confidence.

The other half of the draw

Second seeds Alejandro Galan and Federico Chingotto face Mike Yanguas and Franco Stupaczuk in the first men's semifinal, no earlier than 17:00 local time (12:00 in Argentina). Galan and Chingotto breezed past Coki Nieto and Jon Sanz 6-1, 6-3, while Yanguas and Stupaczuk edged Juan Tello and Maxi Arce 7-5, 6-4.

Order of play

Yanguas and Stupaczuk against Galan and Chingotto opens Central Court, with Coello and Tapia against Di Nenno and Navarro to follow no earlier than 18:30 (13:30 in Argentina). Win both, and the top two seeds set up another final between them on Sunday.
