## Match
- Tournament: CUPRA Germany P2
- Round: Men's Semifinal
- Result: Galan/Chingotto (2) vs Stupaczuk/Sanz (4)

Ale Galan and Fede Chingotto will try to defend their Germany P2 title on Saturday when they face Franco Stupaczuk and Jon Sanz in the second men's semifinal at Castello Dusseldorf.

## How They Got Here

Galan and Chingotto, seeded second, beat Maxi Sanchez Blasco and Sanyo Gutierrez 6-4, 6-1 in the quarterfinals. Stupaczuk and Sanz, seeded fourth, were just as efficient, beating Paquito Navarro and Martin Di Nenno 6-3, 6-3. Both matches were part of the fastest quarterfinal day in Premier Padel history. All eight matches finished in straight sets, with 131 games played across 8 hours and 49 minutes of combined court time.

## Title on the Line

Galan and Chingotto won the inaugural Dusseldorf P2 last year, beating Arturo Coello and Agustin Tapia 7-6, 6-2 in the final. They have not lost a title yet this season and start as favorites against a Stupaczuk-Sanz pairing still chasing its first trophy together. Stupaczuk and Sanz arrive off a tough week. They lost last Sunday's Rotterdam final to Coello and Tapia, 6-3, 6-2.

## What's Next

The winner advances to Sunday's final, where they will face either top seeds Tapia and Coello or third seeds Juan Lebron and Leo Augsburger, who meet in the other semifinal. The Galan-Chingotto vs Stupaczuk-Sanz match is scheduled to start no earlier than 1600 GMT at Castello Dusseldorf, right after the second women's semifinal between Gemma Triay and Delfina Brea against Andrea Ustero and Ari Sanchez.
