Arturo Coello and Agustin Tapia are through to Sunday's Germany P2 final in Dusseldorf after beating Juan Lebron and Leo Augsburger 6-2, 6-3 in Saturday's semifinal.

## A fifth straight win over the same rivals

The match at Castello Dusseldorf lasted just one hour and five minutes. Coello and Tapia won 73 percent of their service points against 56 percent for Lebron and Augsburger, according to Padel Magazine. It was the top seeds' fifth straight-sets win in a row over the pair.

Coello said the scoreline did not tell the full story. "Cada juego fue muy disputado," he said after the match, pointing out that Lebron and Augsburger had break chances in the second set. Tapia credited his partner for the run of form, saying he plays well in large part thanks to Coello.

## Stupaczuk and Sanz await in a Rotterdam rematch

Coello and Tapia will face Franco Stupaczuk and Jon Sanz in the final, after Stupaczuk and Sanz beat defending champions Ale Galan and Fede Chingotto 7-6, 6-4 in the other semifinal. It is a repeat of the final the two pairs played in Rotterdam the week before.

The men's final in Dusseldorf is scheduled for no earlier than 4pm CEST on Sunday. A win would give Coello and Tapia a third straight Germany P2 title and their 11th of the season, extending their lead at the top of the rankings.

## What it means for the title race

Coello pointed out that while the gap at the top is significant, plenty of tournaments remain this season. A win over Stupaczuk and Sanz, who pushed them to three sets in Rotterdam, would be the clearest signal yet that the pair's dominance in 2026 is not letting up.
