Carmen Goenaga and Bea Caldera are through to the women's final at FIP Platinum Lyon after beating Alix Collombon and Ksenia Sharifova 6-2, 6-3 in the semifinal.

The third seeds broke early in both sets and never let the French-Russian pair settle. Collombon and Sharifova had shocked top seeds Alejandra Salazar and Aranza Osoro a day earlier to reach this stage, but the effort from that three-set battle appeared to catch up with them against Goenaga and Caldera, who controlled the rallies from the back of the court and closed out the match in comfortable fashion.
